Pots and capacitors for single neck Franz?

This probably has been covered, and I realize that it's up to each set of ears, but....Does anyone have a preference for pot values (250K vs. 500K) as well as capacitor size for my '55 X50 with a soon to be rewound Franz in the neck position? Thanks.

My personal preference would be a 500k Audio and a .015 pio cap. I would also do a treble bleed on the vol pot as well.

I just looked at an original wiring harness for a '59 T-100 with Franz pickup I have in the parts bin.

It has 500K pots and a .05 capacitor.



I like the sound and function of this arrangement just as it is on the 50's and early 60's Guilds I've played.

Thanks. The 500k pot seems like the concensus. I'll have to research the treble bleed.
