Just by coincidence, I've hit my 3900th post here, and I've been working on the Brian May song "'39" on my 12 string (Thanks Sandy!!:biggrin-new:) For those not familiar with this one, It's a great, and often overlooked 'Queen' song, about time travel and the bittersweet return home. It should have been released as a single. It has enough strength to stand on its own, and It sure is fun to play, ....also Kids just love it!
Here's Dr. May doing it himself, solely acoustic and as 'real' as can be. He's playing an Ovation.......with a few soundboard cracks in it. Still sounds fine to me.

That's a fantastic song. I just listened to that album in my car a few days ago!

Personally, I thought the Ovation was pretty weak. Sounds much better on the Guilds.

Great song, BTW. Still a Queen fan.
