Pending the formality of the Governor's signature, the current view out my window here at work will be gone ...

Don't pack up your office just yet. There will hopefully be lawsuits to force the referendum as required by the Minneapolis city charter. The taxpayers of the city should be allowed the chance to weigh in.

They don't want to put it to a vote, they know we will vote it down. This does not bode well for us. They just put a 12 million dollar roof on the dome and 1/2 a million dollar worth of turf and now they want to tear it down.

I actually bet that it wouldn't pass. Misjudged the "we're tired of talking about it, so let's just pass the damn thing!" factor.
