Yamaha takes it to the previous level (in a cheesy kind of way) with their new THR bedroom amp with "Virtual Tube Illumination".http://usa.yamaha.com/products/musical-instruments/guitars-basses/amps/thr/thr10/?mode=model

THR's Virtual Tube Illumination includes a simulated orange tube glow from the metal speaker grille.

I can have a virtual fireplace with burning logs and sounds on my smartphone...like the amp....ain't nothin' like the real thing.... :lol: Steffan
