Seriously, I have a hard and fast cutoff point of $2000 for a used guitar, maybe slightly more for a new one. Once you get beyond that, you enter the realm of diminishing returns rather rapidly.

People look at you funny when you plunker down big bucks for a guitar but for the same amount of money, it would hardly buy a clunker of a car. I look at guitars as investments but yeah, when you spend 28k on a guitar thats not diamond and ruby encrusted, I'd be giving you some funny looks :lol:
