Got my 99J delivered yesterday, a day late (thanks Fed-Ex). (I'll post pics eventually; I'll be out of town this weekend.)

Dead quiet when turned on, lots of great tone when played. Wow! Talk about presence.

Had my electrician look through it. Aside from changing the cord to a 3-prong, we saw just a couple of old caps (mini-mites, I believe) that need changing. Someone has definitely serviced this (and left their sticker. an outfit in Ventura, CA) One thing they did do was leave a similarly ugly bundle of caps with silicone goop all over them, like the ones from a previous thread. http://letstalkguild.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=23919

Going to take to a vintage amp specialist for the work and see if he can clean that up.

Didn't have my footswitch available, so I haven't tested the tremelo yet.

Other than that, a great NAD!

Hi Chris; any generic 'Fender-style' footswitch will do. The wood ones show up from time to time on eBay.

Yes ... good 'ol cap goop ... said to produce better mid-range tones ... :p

Congrats again on your new Guild amp!
