Does anyone on here know how many Starfire's were made in the 60's? From what I've read there were years where only 100 or so were made...?
How about Amberstars, Emeraldfires and Blackfires?

Hello mattyb54,

Welcome! The information you're looking for was not kept (or saved) by the Guild management but it can be distilled from the ledgers that were kept by the foreman in 'final assembly'. That would mean going through close to 35.000 guitars that were completed during the first half of the '60s.
Since that would actually be a hand count, I've never attemped anything like that and I probably will not do that unless somebody offers to pay me for that task.
For the second half of the '60s the serial numbers are known although the published lists will not give you any information re. the finish that was used on these instruments.

There were a couple of years during which they made less but that was more towards the end of the '60s and part of the reason for the low production was the move from Hoboken, NJ to Westerly, RI.

Same as first answer given above.
