Within Leon Russell's induction into The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame ceremony on you tube:

… they cut away to an audio/video montage that contained this image of a young Leon holding what looks to be a guild guitar. Would this be an M-65 with a florentine cutaway?

Thanks Hans! I hadn't seen him behind anything but a piano before!

I've been to 35 or so Jethro Tull concerts and the 1992 Catfish Rising tour is the only one I noticed Ian playing a Guild.

I see a first post so WELCOME TO LTG!
You might consider introducing yourself in a separate post so more folks can find you and welcome you on board. We love stories and pics so tell us about yourself and show us your '79 D40.
Come out from behind this OP! :encouragement:

Joe,
First, a correction on my initial post. It seems Ian Anderson played that Guild on the 1991 Catfish Rising tour AND the 1992 Light/Dark Tour.
Second, a photo of Willy Porter playing one of several Guilds he must own.

Lastly, I will definately introduce myself and show a picture of my Guild.

Thanks for the welcome.....

I didn't make it to Sleater-Kinney's show at First Avenue in Minneapolis on Saturday night, but Carrie Brownstein's Guild S-100 DeLuxe sure did.

I was surprised to see Tim Lerch playing a Guild archtop, previously owned by Ted Greene, at the end of this "All of Me" lesson. Skip to 8:58 to see & hear the Guild.

Since this is the "picture" thread, lets at least add the pictures.
Here's the 1992 picture with the Guild Songbird.

But Ian Anderson also played a black Songbird Custom in 1991: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_FZpU0INx-0

Way back he also played a Guild F-112 in 1977: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w3Q2L1Tt1Hk
