My 2000 Taylor 810 arrived today.
Got it on ebay for $1,450.
Expected to open the case to find I'd made a bad decision.
Oh,my !
She is a real beauty and plays like a dream.

Great question about the Washburn, Pike.

That's an '82,all mahogany...has brass nut, brass saddle and brass end pins.
Bought it from a fellah on ebay a couple years ago for $200.
He told me he bought it new, played it only about a dozen times and then it sat in a closet for
the next 26 years or so.
When it first arrived I was amazed that a guitar so old could look so new and un-played.
I had never seen so much brass on a guitar either.
Surprisingly,it plays very well and has a beautiful distinct bright, yet warm tone.

Here is a copy of the original ad for this guitar.
