My favorite local pub makes them as a dessert. I have yet to try one because their homemade carrot cake is so damn good.

Tin Roof Sundae and stout beer... hmm... haven't tried it, but...

It makes me think of opening a national chain. If an ice cream parlor held a beer and wine license, one could offer some fun combinations:

What Road? (Rocky Road and Lambic)

Hefeweise ice (German Wheat and Spumoni)

Boysen-beer-y (Boysenberry ice cream and Guinness)

Van-ale-a (Vanilla and IPA)

Name the place Hops-n-Robbins and promote it with something like "31 flavors you won't remember". :D
