I've been listening to WBGO for some time, it provided the motivation to hook up my computer to the stereo. I'll give the Canadian station a listen later. Lots of good jazz on the internet. 8)

I bought a Bose speaker system for my puter. Maybe the best investment I've made in the last coupla years. Actually I bought two speaker systems. This one for my laptop at work:

I got that one on sale for $40 at Bestbuy. Great base from a 2 speaker system

And this one for my desktop at home:

The Companion3 is awesome. It has a volume control (the little round thingie in the pic) that also has plugs for noth a headphone and a mic. I highly recommend it for puters. The base will rattle the pictures off the wall. The sound I get outta it is great! I got it on sale for $200 at Bestbuy. The best $200 I ever spent.

Here's 'nother one: www.kcsm.net
PBS, jazz 24/7 (except for funding drives), live DJ's no playlists, covering the entire jazz spectrum from dixieland through brand-new releases. Proudly refuses to play ANY Kenny G or other watered down imitation stuff.... 8)

You're welcome I'm sure! They claim to be the last one in the country that does what they do. I'm happy to help support 'em with modest donations so I have something worth listening to in the car!

Did another search tonite and came up with this site....it has a buncha stations listed and am perusing them now....if you hold your mouse over the blue letters it gives you a link for the actual site....or you can just click the blue letters and a little window pops up that plays what they're broadcasting....lemme know if you stumble across some sites that stand out as I'm just now discovering this site:
