I just purchased a 1961 Guild 200-S. It's all original except for the handle, a few tubes and the filter caps, and it's pretty clean. It came with the original footswtich, manual and mono->stereo converter. Interestingly, it has factory Oxfords while the other ones I've seen have had Jensens. Click to enlarge:

Does anyone know if these were built by Guild or sourced from another manufacturer? I used to have a 50-J which was almost certainly built by the same factory that made Univox amps, and I've read in Hans's book that some chassies may have been punched out by Ampeg. Where does this amp fit in?

Hi Noah; congratulations on your new amp. New member Emperor-TK recently uploaded the 200S schematic at Prowess Amps. Looking forward to reading more about the amp.

It's $850.00 on the steelguitarforum and thegearpage.

Yeah, that's what I'd actually like to get for it.

It's a great amp, just too darn loud for my needs.
