Wow, that's "quintuple X" guitar porn indeed. Love that X500 with the DeArmonds - don't see those too often either. I've played a friend's '61 or '62 with DeArmonds and......I want one!!!!! :evil:

Walter, you are correct the x175 with dearmonds kills. It is one of my very best players. I think that they are quite rare; those pickups absolutely slam the front end of any amp. I have been lucky enough to put many guitars through their paces in both live and studio environments and the guilds always seem to come up as the winners.

Some fifties Guilds came in unbadged dappled Liftons, and maybe some other brands like Geib. Als, you can find an unbadged Guild case now and then into the 1980s.

The neck pickup could use a shim
A lot of us have nuts that could use a shim.
