Hello all.
I was really happy to find this forum, and this is my first post.
I own a 95 DV6 NT HG that I bought new. I have played it nearly every day since.
It has gone to Walnut Valley Festival (Winfield) with me every year since.
I can attest to the fact that it holds its own very well. I have even turned down a friend who wanted to trade his 76 D18
straight across. I really feel as if I hit a homerun when I bought the guitar.
I will post some pics of it soon. After trying many different strings I settled on John Pearce Phosphor Bronze lights, and sometimes mediums. They really make the guitar come alive. I am a proud owner of a Guild and am happy to find a forum of like minded people.
Again... Greetings to all.

Oh no, it was great to watch! Unfortunately I have no sound board at this time. I think you and Bluseypicky would enjoy scoping each other's technique though.

I knew this is an old thread, but I am a new member. I just bought this 98 Guild DV-6 for $100 and had a center seam crack repaired on it. Then an LR Baggs Anthem SL installed. What are your thoughts? What's it worth? I have never owned or known of Guild until know. Thanks!

tzegers, welcome to the forum. Your cut/paste of photobucket links doesn't seem to be working. In photobucket you have to click on the share links button when you're looking at a picture, and that'll let you pick up the img code to paste in. I'm sure we'd love to help you valuate your guitar, but we'll need pictures and more details. Also, you should start a separate thread.

Best wishes from the moderating staff. :)
