Hi,

I'm new here and a have a few questions about the C100(D). Recently i played on a '64 C100D "slim jim" and i must say this guitar is amazing! Now i'm trying to sell a guitar to buy a guild. I can buy the 64 C100D for 1300 euro. It's in good shape but it's used And she comes with no hard case. I can also buy a '58 C100 with a P90. Also in good used shape but with a case (original) for 1350 euro. I really liked the 64. Maybe i can swamp the guitar i want to sell for the 58, But it has other pick ups... Can somebody explain the sound difference?

Are the prices all right?

Hello, el.

Welcome to the forum. :D

I don't know a thing about the guitars in your post, but I'm sure that someone who does will be along shiortly.

'Slim Jim' means the T-100 which has the thinner body. That's probably what you mean. There is a CE-100/CE-100D model which has a thicker body, but those are less common and more expensive.
There are lots of threads about the T-100 you can reference. I'm a fan.

I could be wrong, but the '64 would have the "Mickey Mouse" pickups. There are a few people around here who are big fans of them. It's been too long since I had mine though.
