For me it's as follows:

Acoustic: D-50

Electric: M-75 Bluesbird from the mid 50's.

How about you?

Anything American made with 12 strings, but I'll go with D212 'cause they're very great and very cool.

D50/D25....because I have them!
I feel very fortunate to own two of the best guitars I've ever had and/or heard.
It would be a tough call to part with one or the other, so I won't even think about it.

Happy camper,
Joe

That depends on what day it is... either D-46 or D-50.

Just noticed this was my 2000th post since joining in June 2006!

Um, I think it's well known around here. For me - '70's S-100! For example...

(Although I really dig the '82 M-80 too).

Acoustic - Well, I only own one, and I'm happy with it: '83 D35. I might have to have a D55 in the future though.

Something about Westerly D-55s really seems alluring.

It would have to be my D-55. I love my 12 but don't really play it that often. My husband gave me the original D-55 the Christmas our son was born, and although that was stolen as was the first replacement, this one still holds that soul. Besides, I just love the way it rings and rings and yeah, I'm a sucker for that bling. joan

Considering the line up of Guilds in your sig, that actually surprised me.
May have to get a D to go with my JF........ 8)

As for my fave, depends on the day...week.....month......lately the M20 is seeing the most use acoustically and the 'lectric du jour is the X700.

As was previously said, it depends on the day - that's why many (if not most of us) have several guilds :)

As of today (subject to change any time), my favorites are:

acoustic: D50
12 string: JF12-30
archtop: X170
solid/chambered: Blues 90
bass: SB-902A

Well, my experience with Guilds is pretty paltry by the standards of this gang and I don't have any yet. But I'm definitely feeling the pull of the F-512.

I abstain on the basis of not being able to make up my mind anymore. I love each one for a unique characteristic or two.
