Not a guitar (obviously), but it is a headstock...

Jim, those are freaking AWESOME!!! Such great photography and not biased by brand or instrument!! Thanks for that contribution.... one of the BEST!!! :D :D

@ Aristera... where did you get those pearl deco knobs? Those are amazing and although they're not stock... they're beautiful!! Did you change the whole tuner or just the knobs? Wondering.... I have Grover Super Rotomatics with Deco Knobs on my D65s so... I'm rather fond of them. Mine are gold, though.....

I swapped out the non-original gold Grovers with chrome Grovers (18:1 ratio) and replaced the bean buttons with the pearloid Imperial buttons. They were an Allparts stock # for Grover tuners and fit perfectly. The button screw lengths were the same.

This photo of a Les Paul head persuaded me.

Okay since no one said "Guild Headstock" and it seems kinda open.... I'll post a few more. The McSpadden Mountain Dulcimer by Larry McSpadden:

And the new Taylor slotted headstock on the GC8:

Sorry the dulcimer is kinda dusty.... been in its case for quite a while... needs new strings too!! 8)

Mine's bigger than yours, although without anything to show scale, you'll have to take my word for it.

Thanks Tom.That's actually on the bench in my all cedar sauna. Which also doubles as a sound proof practice studio because it's so well insulated.
