"queue" happens to be the only word whose pronunciation doesn't change even when you remove the last four letters of the word. :D

Here's a Brit term I don't care for so much: "bloody". Disgusting :(

In Australia (and Newzy Land) they use that word as punctuation :mrgreen:

A sunburned bloody stockman stood,
And in a bloody dismal mood,
Apostrophied his bloody cuddy,
Exclaiming 'bloody, bloody, bloody'

actually it was a derivation of 'By our lady' :wink:
