I've mentioned the open mic I play at every week - Mo'Phat Tuesday.
I took my 26-year old Technics cassette deck a couple weeks ago and ran a line in from the host's mixer.
It's raw - but so are some of the performances.
This open mic is pactically a Taylor owner's club, but me and one other fellow, Brendan Beach, are stalwart Guildies! Brendan plays a well-worn D4.
Shameless plug: His tie-dye work (see my avatar) can be had at http://www.beachsongs.net.
The occassion is the birthday of the host's wife, Peg. She's a geography professor and private pilot. This site has the recent event and recordings from last year's celebration, too. Hope you get a smile. If not, here's one -
