I've mentioned the open mic I play at every week - Mo'Phat Tuesday.
I took my 26-year old Technics cassette deck a couple weeks ago and ran a line in from the host's mixer.
It's raw - but so are some of the performances. :)
This open mic is pactically a Taylor owner's club, but me and one other fellow, Brendan Beach, are stalwart Guildies! Brendan plays a well-worn D4.

Shameless plug: His tie-dye work (see my avatar) can be had at http://www.beachsongs.net.

The occassion is the birthday of the host's wife, Peg. She's a geography professor and private pilot. This site has the recent event and recordings from last year's celebration, too. Hope you get a smile. If not, here's one - :D

Great music Mark.

I gotta say Taylor guitars are pretty to look at and their mids and highs are quite nice but, IMO, their lack of bass makes them seem unbalanced.

I've played a few recently, a 814 and a 714, I was really pumped up to see the 714 because it was cedar, but the sound let me down on both, oh well.

Love the When I get over You rendition Mark.
