I assume this old fella is the one owner referred to.
What a thrill back in '54 for a young man to have one of these alien-looking new fangled things.
And there he is, all these years later, with what was surely his pride and joy.
I just think it's a really neat image, and you can sit there and "imagine", and smile.
And I'm almost sure, that a pre-58/59 two-tone sunburst Strat is the most iconic guitar out there !
