Just curious if anyone had scored any Guild related products for Christmas they'd like to tell us about?

semi related items... i got a Fender hooded sweatshirt!

but this week I plan on buying some guitar related gifts for myself, a new levy's strap for my JF30-12 and putting a strap pin on it. and an VOX ac15 amp for my electric.

but no, no new Guilds were under the tree!

Krussell,

I'm sure you probably have, but thought I'd ask. Have you checked out Don's leather Guild straps?

Welp,
It was actually Thursday I think, but I did buy a blonde NOS '01 SF-4 for myself for Christmas.
I needed a back pickup sometimes, and the X-150 just has the neck alone.
I could use other guitars I suppose but heck, I WANTED it!

Is there any chance these straps might be available in black??

Midnite is back & she is just crying out for a black Guild Strap.

Digitech Jam Man

[quoNo sir. Just the tan.te][/quote]

Ok Fine, and thank you, I can cross a tan strap off my list of potential necessities.

I got problems enough figuring out my Christmas present. It's not a Guild.

It's a Digitech JamMan. My first impression is there ain't no free lunch here !! It looks like to me you're gonna get out of this device what you put in to it. Digitech's website is woefully lacking in demonstration

Fortunately Dred talked me into the DC5 & I haven't had to deal with microphone issues yet. DC5 records thru the JamMan hassle free & sounds nice out of the amplifier. Once I figure out how to store the recordings I should be able to get some audio on line so you can hear what it does.

The thing as far as I can tell so far only has 10 pre recorded rhythm & bass vibes. A basic blues progression, a couple rock progressions & a 3/4 time vibe & some other runs I really haven't studied.

The thing is intimidating & I'm trying to keep an open mind, thinking it's likely a good learning tool. Any discussion would be greatly appreciated.

None for me recently. I was up late searching ebay & craigslist for that Christmas miracle, but it just wasn't to be.

However, I did get a nice new recliner & a HoMedics messager to go with it! Still an up-hill recovery from hurting my back awhile ago, but these will certainly come in handy.

Nothing Guild related, but I did get a new Rickenbacker 3 guitar stand, which is built into a vintage style silver case. The subtext of this gift is, "Get your guitars off the living room furniture".

Not exactly Guild related, but I did get a couple of files that will help me in replacing the nut on one of my Guilds. Hope everyone had a good holiday.

My daughter Julia stopped in England on her way home from Norway, and picked up my new '89 Nightbird that the seller in Wales shipped to my other daughter Janet in Oxford.

Aside from the Christmas present of having my girl here, it is a sweet sweet guitar. Keeping me away from the family a bit, it is.

Get some black leather dye from a Shoemaker, or Leather Shop. Be sure to seal it with some Leather Sheen. I used to make all My own belts from Tandy Leather blanks, and I still have a few.

Wow, you scored some serious points with that one Jimbo. I know she'll love it. What does she think so far?

Nice going,
