Sometimes I think it's all Canadians do, drink and play hockey, probably at the same time. I don't do either so I don't think I can vote anymore.
As for recommendations on a darker beer Coastie, I would try Upper Canada Dark for one or one of the Sleeman line, although they have just been swallowed up by Labatts. Also there are some really great wheat beers out there.
