Why not go electric?

Hello all,

About 20 years I haven't played an electric guitar. Wouldn't it be cool to have an electric guitar again, I said to myself lately?
But then it would have to be a Guild for sure. And probably a hollowbody. I like the looks of Starfires.
But, before I enter a long quest for an American-made electric LEFTY Guild, maybe I should try first to get a Newark St. for a more reasonable price... So I have a few questions:
What are these Newark St. guitars worth for the price (quality, sound)?
It will be difficult for me to try many different models, do some of you have words to compare the Starfire III, IV, IV ST, V, M-75, etc. especially regarding differences in sound, pickups, neck playability... ? And I admit I know nothing about pickups!
As for the looks, I think the one I like best is the Stafire IV.

I don't even know if they actually do lefty versions of these guitars, but I just sent an inquiry on Guild's site.
Anyway, any tiny bit of experience helping me compare these Newark St. models will be welcome!

I have not heard mention of lefthanded anything out of CMG. The companies that seems to be lefty-friendly are Taylor and Godin. Actually, Fender and Gibson have the most lefties available in electrics.

Well, I have seen quite a few acoustics from New Hartford in lefty versions, so I hope CMG will continue to do some. Lefty GADs also exist. But for electric models, it's another story... and another cost for the company I guess.
