Yes, although I was thinking of the way the inconsistent policy and application of that policy terrorizes airline passengers. I'd rather take my chances on a crazy with a bomb then watch one more mother with young children pulled out of line because the sippy cup is 4 ounces and she couldn't get her shoes off fast enough.

Flying from San Antonio to DFW, security were very interested in the D35 - probably because wires were detected inside. Security man wiped it with a special cloth. Hoped no-one who had touched it had been touching a dollar bill (apparently most are contaminated with snow) - but I suspect it was to detect traces of explosives on the outside. I mean - do I look in any way like a terrorist :shock:

Do you really want an answer? Besides if you did look like a terrorist the TSA probably would not stop you for fear that they would be "profiling".

We have a similar PC problem in the UK. Police are accused of stopping and searching a particular section of the community - and are accused that this is not in line with the percentage proportion that section represents of the community. No one is permitted to surmise that the proportion stopped might be in line with knife/drug/gun crime offences though :roll: I hope this doesn't offend too many sensibilities and I am not making any comment about what constitutes that section of the community.
