:? Actually I don't know what's wrong immediately - no doubt blatantly obvious to the educated guitarist (which rules me out) - I'm not well up on Craiglist or E Bay as I've never bought anything off either, but on the face of it, it does look like an old Mex guitar - although I would expect nylon strings and those looked more like wound metal strings. However - 'sound like a banjo' wouldn't entice me to buy :mrgreen:

Ah - so I did spot the mistake - as I said 'plays like a banjo wouldn't entice me to buy' - I thought there was something far more technical involved, and I'm no good at 'technical' with guitars. Actually, I'm no good with guitars, period :mrgreen:

I'm intrigued by the "Martin Bridge." It doesn't look like any Martin bridge I can think of. They did (do?) make a few archtops, but they would have a typical archtop bridge with the adjustable feet.
