What year was my Guild built?

I've tried the Guild site and also the other one, neither worked. My guitar is a Westerly JF55-12, serial # AJ520698

Welcome! Your Guild JF55-12 with serial # AJ520698 is one of the very last batch of JF55-12s they did in Westerly, before they closed the plant at the end of August 2001.

then I suppose I am the proud owner of one of the last vestiges of the legendary Westerly plant. unfortunately I have to put this JF55-12 up for sale along with all my other guitars in order to raise some needed capital.

But I will ensure that this finds a loving home, with an ever-caring and constantly humidifying owner. like the lot of us.
