What are the best spots for tourists to see in San Diego? I have two friends coming from Sweden who will be staying there.

My Rec's are: Point Loma light house and surrounding areas, Torrey Pines state reserve, Mount Palomar Observatory, Hotel Del Coronado, and Balboa Park and Zoo. Maybe the Gaslamp district for food/entertainment.

Also recommend Mission Beach, Seaworld and driving all the way to the end of Point Loma to Cabrillo National Monument for the specacular views.

Best single spot is Point Loma, FWIW and to cut to the chase.
