Those clips are from a 2 CD or 2 DVD set that is just fantastic. I have had them both for some time, actually bought as they were said to be of such high quality recording-wise. Alison's voice can be an aquired taste perhaps, but I am in. All the players in her band are top in the field...can you believe when she hired Dan Tyminski he didn't play guitar? :shock: :shock:

Been in the AK & Union Station camp for several years. Some of their tunes are 'haunting' in a good way. Very unique sound; easily discernable from other groups... in a good way...

I'll do that Joe. I've got several of her CDs laying about; the last I recall purchasing was this one with Robert Plant: http://www.allmusic.com/album/raising-sand-mw0000748589. I like it, but IMO, her best collaboration work is with Union Station...

SS, story that I read (interview with DS), is that he got hired on as a mandolin player but had to play guitar as well...he learned in a matter of some months.
