Mind you, I am new to the Guild world and since I have been reviewing this forum and reverb, I noticed that USA made Guilds, even 1950s are pretty inexpensive as compared to other brands like Gibson, D'angelico. Epiphone, Heritage etc.

I may have jumped the gun on the NS Capri that is sitting at Fedex until Tuesday (Fedex are terrible) after looking at all these really nice FS USA models.

SSSHHHHHHHH!!!! Don't tell ANYONE!.

All kidding aside, that's why you see so many of us here with more than one: They often represent really good "tone per dollar" values across the line. On the buy side of the equation, that's great news. On the sell side, not so much.

It really is true. And half of the fun is the hunt.

Check out some of the threads about specific models, and note some of the differences during the eras of Guilds manufacturing. There are differences in pickups, necks, and other such details, some subtle and some more substantial. These may influence your choice depending on your preferences. One consistent fact, though, is that exceptional guitars came out of all eras.
