Unique Westerly-made Guild DK-70 Koa? Huh??

Does somebody know the background history of this Guild? I have never seen anything like this apart from the cheap asian guitars selling on ebay that are over-the-top in blingage. I Don't see the model or serial number listed on the Guild site. I'm slightly skeptical that this is real without any more evidence than the seller's saying it is. However, it does have the trademark Guild features....it looks like a Guild.

It's real. Been lots of discussion on these. They pop up occasionally listed for very high prices. Do a search of the forums, should be several old threads..

It's the real deal. I own one of them. It's called the Peacock. GREAT guitar & $5000 is a fair price for it. It's worth $6000 IMO. Mine is pictured on the website below. Picture doesn't do her justice.
