Are any of you familiar with Tundra Music in Canada?
I'm amazed at the NOS New Hartford models. Several GSR models (three M-75, X-150D used, F-30CE Cocobolo & F-40 Cocobolo) and an F-40 Valencia.
Also, lots of American-made Guild models. Prices seem high, but I'm surprised by the number of NH GSR models.
Has anybody ever purchased from Tundra?
What do you think about these NH GSR models? Why have they not sold? Tundra is open to offers. Are they just priced too high?
Tundra must be doing well to keep these models around for ten years.

They’ve had them listed for years, they used to have much more. I think in part because the prices are high. However, I’ve seen them put on sale previously, so perhaps they would be open to offers if you asked.

Search on "Tundra".

Some folks have made purchases and were quite happy. Some folks tried and weren't happy, perhaps ending up with a refund instead of a guitar.

Prices are generally high but the supply is not increasing so if the demand is there they will get their price.

If they had something I wanted I'd open negotiations but be prepared for hiccups along the way.

Are their prices listed in US or Canadian dollars? Looks like 1 CAD is about 75 cents right now, which makes some of those prices high but not as outrageous.

Tundra Music seems to be two different companies. First is the one that gets abysmal reviews online, and the other that gets stellar reviews on Reverb. Forget about trying to contact them, because they never answer the phone, nor do they seem to respond to emails, Reverb messages, or offers.

I took a chance last Black Friday, and bought a brand new '22 D40 Traditional on Reverb for a price that was way too good to be true. I used a credit card in case worst came to worst, knowing that I could initiate a chargeback if they didn't hold up their end of the deal, and I had the guitar within a week. I'm glad I took the chance, but I'm not sure I'd deal with them anywhere outside of Reverb.

It is worth watching their Reverb page though, because occasionally they let one go for a crazy cheap price.

Canada .... brrr
And yeah I have looked at that f40 for several years waiting for an indication that they might lower the asking price. Chances are that they simply forgot about it. Might help to call and ask what they are willing to sell it for.

Good luck with that. In my experience, they never answer the phone, and never return voicemails, or Reverb messages. It seems to be a very odd way to run a business.
