Tough day to be a salmon

Down on the creek this afternoon and the big November run is on! Fishermen are crowding the creek and the salmon and steelhead are running fast.

It gets pretty grisly down there and some fishermen overdo it with the club.

"Clubs? We don't need no stinkin' clubs."

Every time I catch a fish (some larger than that Salmon) it always goes ballistic once in the boat, I don't club it, I have a wet towel standing by and I use it to grab the fish by the tail and then into the cooler full of ice. The ruckus usually stops within 30-45 seconds.
