Well, Reverb announced they are increasing their selling fees from 3.5% to 5%. I'm sure Ebay will make a similar announcement soon.

I check your reverb site five or six times a day. Question, should I see something I like, with intentions of buying it, and contact you via LTG, does reverb still get the 5%? If so, I hope you list all your "for sale" gear on LTG.

Etsy recently bought Reverb, and Etsy charges 5% on everything. I can't do anything about their fees, but I will charge more on Reverb than I charge other places.

This is the way things change to a Buyer's Market. I don't like the fact that I can't sell items on Reverb 'as-is' with 'no-returns.' What is the rate on Gbase?

I've never used Gbase, but I just looked and you can sell there for a flat fee of "as little as" $35 per month with no commission on sales. It's not for an occasional seller like me.

BTW, I understand your desire for finality of a sale, but I think some buyers are reluctant to risk a purchase of a guitar sight unseen. That return option probably induces some people to buy online.

If you use PayPal then there's no such thing as "no returns" and it doesn't matter where you sell. Unless you use Friends and Family, that is, but then you're dorked if the buyer uses a credit card and cancels the transaction.

Gary. I only used PayPal on Reverb. I think Reverb snuffed that out, too

Dear DeArmond, I don’t usually sell guitars. Mostly guitar, bass and Hammond/Leslie parts.
