Hi Folks - new member here. I just picked up a Thunderbird 2x12, I believe version 2, with 7591's. The amp is in great shape except for the tolex (gone) - which I am in the process of replacing. My question is regarding the three handles on one side. I can't seem to find a photo that clearly shows the handles and I would like to replace them with the proper style. Could anyone point me to a photo that clearly shows the handles?

Thanks for your help

Hi and welcome to LTG. This pic shows the handles ... but not very well. Maybe somebody else will have a clearer photo. I can't say for sure but I believe them to be the later 'Fender-style'; metal-reinforced rubber (plastic?) handle with metal cap ends to hide the fasteners. Good luck .. hope this helps.

Thanks. That Thunderbass looks like it has more the Fender "dogbone" style, while some other amps in the reference post seem to have handles more like the later fender end cap types. My cabinet seems to have been drilled for both types.
