Thoughts on the reviews section that no one reads

Perhaps putting the blank form in the acoustic review section to be used as a template for all reviews would be helpful. Can it be posted in a way that keeps it at the top of that section regardless of whether one organizes by oldest or newest post first? And if this can be done for the acoustic section the same can be done for the electric review section.

The vision for the reviews section was that there would be nothing in the threads but an owner's review in a particular format. Anything we can do to encourage people submitting reviews in that format but taking the discussion elsewhere is IMO A Good Thing. The above posts were moved from a review in that section because doing so seemed to facilitate the vision. However in a world ruled by Entropy and where the Veer is not Feared, there does not seem to be much hope without more Moderation than folks are comfortable tolerating :)

Think we have to get the others going, put up their new pieces in here...make use of Scratch's hard work!

I go back there all the time...I think it is one of the more valuable sections on any guitar website.

FWIW, I read the reviews section (and read your review the day you posted it, Bill). It's not a discussion forum, so you're not likely to get immediate feedback. But I do think it's a useful resource; it complements the discussion elsewhere in the forum and provides a centralized location for focused reviews, free from thread drift and other things that make the forum both fun but sometimes less useful as a research tool.
