My mom used to HATE Steppenwolf (probably because I played it so loud), but I thought it was the coolest thing I'd ever heard. I did hear John Kay on one of those PBS 'nostalgia' shows a few months ago and he was about the only one on the show that wasn't just sad.
Anyway, thank God wrinkles don't hurt. :lol: They say that time may be a great healer but it sure is a lousy beautician!

I saw Steppenwolf about 5 years ago. The years have been good to John Kay :shock: They really rocked the place. John Kay played a bevy of sweet Rickenbackers. I won tickets on the radio station and got to sit in the VIP section, brought my pickin' buddy along.
For the encore, they did "The Pusher Man". It was really an excellent concert.
