Can some one on the forum tell me where the Guild D55 is made now? Is that still in the US? I have nothing negative to say about the GAD line, in fact I own a GAD 30R and love it. But am wondering if they do still make guitars like the D55 in the States. I used to own a D50 many years ago which was made in Tacoma, sorry i still don't have it. I been following the companies history since it's inception but been out of touch for a while. I believe that they moved to a plant now in New Hartford into a factory that already builds some other Fender stuff like Ovation. I don't know if any of this is true, but maybe someone can straiten me out. Any idea why they would set up back here.

Best Regards,
JB

Yup, they'er still making the D-55, I played a new one last week.

Scratch, if you're lurking, the D-55 I played was a new guitar from Redbone, they are the new Guild dealer here in San Antonio.
