From Guild's Facebook feed:
They offered the F-150r as a GAD but they didn't have G-shields, so I'm guessing it must be a reference piece they have on hand, possibly even an NOS NH piece, and they used it to "beef up" the photo. What's up w/ the F-50R in the bottom corner? Didn't think they'd made that model since the move, nor overseas at any point.

It is still officially listed on the website under the F50r model number, probably to help dealer sales if they've got NOS on hand.
Well, ya never know, but I think if it was a genuine F55 prototype they would have announced it on their Facebook page like they did the M40 (new F20 model number) recently, otherwise, yeah, I see what you're saying.Thought maybe it was a sneaky bigger tease than the obvious blue Starfire in the middle of the photo.
I like blue guitars, though evidently not near as much as Tom does. I recently opted for this one…not a Guild but not half bad:

IMO a T-bird with that SF-IV's shade of blue would look killer.

You mean the same as most 70s S-100s? SOLD!^^^^
Yeah I loved it too when I first saw it but then say the neck specs & said "oh well"...

Yeah right! I know you like that neck width but I do like the wider neck. My 76 neck is really pretty shallow as well & feels the smallest in hand. Sometimes I think maybe I should sell it but I can't though because it sounds so sweet! I convince myself it is good for playing the thumb on the 6 string type chords and I am at peace again. You mean the same as most 70s S-100s? SOLD!

Meant to holler at you about this -- that's cool looking, though I actually like the black better. Rosewood necks are neat, aren't they. I've only ever handled one Ernie Ball-era Music Man, but I remember it had a nice big, round neck and was a slick player. I think it was a pink sparkle Albert Lee model back in the '90s. Of all the specs listed on the site, including a lot of trivial stuff, I didn't see any mention of neck profile/depth on yours. What's it feel like in hand?
