I got ahold of a great '60s T-50 which had it's pickup replaced by a fender lace sensor gold. I'm looking for a p-90 style pickup to replace it with, something with more vintage punch. Did this guitar originally have a p90 pup? (the photos I've looked at are inconclusive) I've recently been spoiled by the original p90's that are in a gorgeous spruce top '62 Aristocrat I got ahold of and I'm looking for that type of clarity and punch from my t-50. So to clarify, I'm wondering if it's worthwhile to look for an original t-50 pup to put back in (if so what am I looking for) or should I be barking up some different tree?

Most T-50's came with a "Mickey Mouse" pick-up.
Although I believe some had a chrome top DeArmond? (Don't have my bible handy!)

My sunburst T50 has a chrome Polara type pickup.
