It has been in the high 80's-mid-90's with high humidity now for three weeks. Hottest summer we've had in quite a while. Fortunately, we've also had a few good rains so the landscape is ultra-green, but after the rain it gets REALLY humid. At least I don't need to humidify my instruments when it's like this.

I actually prefer fall, then winter.

Been hot and dry, but humid here in the north east. Today is a pristine summer day though...

Hot and humid in Middle Tennesee. Been low to mid 90s last 8--10 days.
Wish I had about 300 square (really rectangular) bales of hay to load and put into the hayloft. NOT!!!!!!!!

I'm melting. And it's not because Dorothy threw water on me. Although I'd be happy if she did.

Only if you use a balehook to toss 'em into the hayloft, Stuball. Hot, sweaty, and covered in hay dust, that's what I remember.

But when we were done, my Dad would go to A&W and come back with a sack full of Papa burgers and two glass gallon jugs of root beer. Ahhhhh!

Ack! I can barely stand having hay sticking to my arms after feeding cows and horses every day so can't imagine being covered in hay dust. Thank goodness the hose is nearby because I gotta get that stuff off!
