I have a bunch of old guilds and gibsons.
the guild small humbucker is a sound I really love.
a cool snarl and bark to it with a nice zing on the top.
nothing like them. I much prefer them to the Gibson minis of the same era.
if I were you, I’d learn to love it….

I have owned the full body es 125 and while the pickup was my favorite , I really didn’t like the inherent tone of the guitar. Something plinky about those 125’s. The guild sf3 is a better guitar hands down.
