Speaking of Kim Thayil....

One of the guys in my office saw Soundgarden over the weekend at the Tower Theater in Upper Darby, PA (with press credentials), and got these shots of Mr. Thayil and his Guilds. Photos are copyright 2013 by Ben Pelta-Heller.

I'd love to see Guild get Kim involved in their marketing/advertising more - there's only a few other bands (garbage, for example) using Guilds as religiously as him. Seems like a wasted opportunity.

Press credentials, so he was next to the stage. He has some shots of Chris Cornell playing what I thought was a Bigsby-equipped Starfire, but closer inspection of the headstock showed it to be a Gibson.
