Purchased a Shure SM58 vocal mic at Best Buy yesterday for $74.99. Also has a $10.00 rebate with it so I'll have $65.00 invested in a $100.00 mic. The SM57 is running the same special and also includes a rebate.

I am slowly becoming a fan of Martin strings. I like them on my -28H, but LOVE them on my F30. Strings and Beyond have the coated Martin Lifespans on a buy one get one free sale. Shipping is free on $35 and up.
I am not a fan of coated strings but these are the first ones that sound like the uncoated equivalent. So, to my ears, these sound just like Martin SPs and last longer. They average out to about $6/set.
