Sounds like modern tv is going back to olde style tv where a 1/5 hr. movie will take 3 hrs to watch because of all the comercials! Ice cream break!!

Between an amplified hi def broadcast antenna, internet, an Amazon Prime account (which actually pays for itself in what I would have otherwise paid in shipping alone in just one Christmas!) Netflix, and HBO max (plus loads of free streaming services and content...it's all still a far cry compared to what I was paying for cable!!! Now THAT was highway robbery!!

I think we pay about $9 a month for Netflix. Seems reasonable.

We also stream free stuff sometimes — like the DC riot and the DC riot hearings — so I should count in a little of what we pay for WiFi. That wouldn't come to much, either. Another $9? Probably not.

Anyhow, we have more than enough.
