That guitar was routed for regular large size HB-1s.

It's the little details you see! Always amazing! I checked my Starfire IV and indeed the routing is very narrow where the single height adjustment screw fits compared to the S-100 rounted for the HB-1 double screws and the ring mounting holes are also much wider apart.

No way! That guitar was routed for regular large size HB-1s. The mounting rings are not Guild rings, but rings from another brand guitar that were large enough to cover the routs!

It may have been a fluke that Fender sampled one of few antihum S100's but I'm glad they did. I really like the sound of those pickups on that solid body. Good have additional tone variety out of a classic guitar model.
