Slightly smaller Humbucking PU from the 60's??

Anyone have some comments on the mid sixties humbuckers that were slightly smaller units than the seventies replacements.
Are the differences between the 2? In tone or "Anti-Hum"?
I've never tried a Guild with these pickups and was wondering what you guys think.

Hey Kevin, it's been discussed a lot. Most recently here. You could also find some info here. There are several other threads on the topic too if you dig a bit.

In short, the minis are brighter and the HB1s sound closer to traditional PAFs.

Thanks for the replys. I've never had the opportunity to try a Guild with these smaller units.
