Site Access Troubles...

Apparently some people are having trouble accessing the site this morning, Sunday June 2nd. I thought it seemed pretty quiet around here. Me and walrus and Geoff and maybe a couple of others.....

The LTG facebook site is JUMPING, however......

I can't get on via the ubiquitous iPhone, but my home 'puter is working, at least for now....

It was weird: a few folks, including myself, through the Yahoo Group, were reporting they couldn't access the forum. I tried now and I could. What happened? I have no idea. But it sure is good to be back.

It was down all day for me. I notice no activity in Acoustic/Acoustic Electric since a little after 1 AM. Gotta figure most guys were out of touch. For that matter, posts have been down across the board since we came to this new address. There don't seem to be any links to this new site. Nobody can find us, I think.

I was unable to access the site all mod yesterday and most of today from a charter.net account. It appears to be working fine now.

I was all smug when I could get in yesterday morning, but then I started getting "backpack girl" like everyone else. So I got in the pool (it was 104 here yesterday) and then went out drinking with my friends. Once I got home I got right back in the pool again. Now it's 1:50 AM and I just woke up and .... it's working again. Good night all.... see ya in the morning. Or ... later in the morning.

Don't know anything about Ipad but assuming you're using a browser (Safari?), try clearing your cache & cookies.

I gotta admit. It's getting kinda frustrating finding this forum. It seems every week it moves or changes in some way or another. By the time I google it, ask on other forums for its new location, and bookmark the new address, it moves again. That being said... It's still worth the hunt! I love the forum and the folks on here.

As you might know we were hacked and required to move to a new service provider/server/software (that is just the shortform of it...). Don (the owner of LTG) spend many many days of his spare time to fix all of that. (remember, that's a not a company operating LTG, it is one person in his spare time only!)Ralf

Sweet! And Don's work is certainly appreciated. I'm just glad it's here. I've learned so much since I joined and always love the insight I get from players. Like I said... It was still worth the hunt!
