In major, major rail freight classification (sorting) yards, many times they are a "hump yard" where a car is pushed
up a hill, then gravity takes it down the other side, men in the "hump tower" set the series of track switches and rail wheel brakes for the car
to get added to the correct train. Probably due to what commodity this car carries all the time, it should not be humped, and they want to make it VERY clear.

CSX (nee Conrail) has (or had) a hump yard in Selkirk, New York.
