Glad to hear that. It really sounded nice at Guildstock.

Especially when you were playing my guitar.

OK, so I didn't get it and I still don't. I thought the manatee pic was funny though. However, I need an explanation as I was watching a Merle Haggard concert for '06 at Billy Bob's  and they had two amps with mikes set up just like that. :?

ok, grammy, I'll explain to you, and to all who did not get the joke, if you don't mind default:

on the photo there is a microphone heading to an marshall amphead (amplifier without speaker which needs a cabinet like the one it is standing on) which of course does not contain any speaker because it is an amphead, opposite to the fender-combos (amps with built in speakers), merle haggard uses on stage.
so what do you expect this microphone to do, when there is no sound but hum coming from an amphead???
I find my singing sounds the best using this very setup.

Well I guess I was too subtle (an LTG first) because I really did immediately notice that the amplifier was being miked and not the speaker.

I'm presuming that the tweed cover was a cosmetic thing - to match the grille cloth - but perhaps also served to help with cooling?
